Description

Circa 1830. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, symmetrical, gabled house Pedimented portico in antis. Coursed Caithness stone slabs. Base course, dividing band between floors, 1st floor cill course.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: tripartite panelled door to centre, letterbox fanlight; architraved doorway; flanking Doric columns in antis supporting slightly projecting pediment. Flanking windows within slightly recessed bays. Raised, broached and droved ashlar margins to upper storey openings; centre window flanked by narrow blind windows.

SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: blind gable end.

NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: abutting NO 18.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 2001.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slates, raised skews, coped gable stacks, cast-iron rainwater goods.
