Description

Early to earlier 19th century with later alterations and additions. 3 properties merged as one, comprising 2-storey 3-bay group with single storey, 3-bay group flanking to centre and single storey 2-bay group adjoining to N. Squared and snecked sandstone with stugged ashlar to central group; whinstone and sandstone rubble to 2-bay group to N; harl-pointed sandstone rubble with droved dressings to 3-bay group to S. Harled S elevation. Harl-pointed sandstone rubble to W. Irregular quoins to 2-storey 3-bay group.

E ELEVATION: 2-storey 3-bay group to S with 2-pane rectangular fanlight above, in ashlar doorpiece with shallow pediment with name carved to lintel. Window at 1st floor above and to each floor of flanking bays. Single sotrey cottage at centre with modern glazed door with rectangular fanlight above to centre. Window to each flanking bay. Boarded door in bay to left of 2-bay group to right with modern timber carved name board to lintel. Modern garage in bay to right. Door to centre of

W ELEVATION: modern platformed sunroom to rear of single storey 3-bay group to centre.

uPVC plate glass pivoted windows. Slate roof with brick stacks to gableheads.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1995.
