Description

1897 with later alterations. 2-storey 6-bay pair of terraced houses Rubble with droved ashlar dressings, house to E; harled with droved ashlar dressings, house to centre of terrace.

N (NORTH STREET) ELEVATION: each house with modern door to centre, with letterbox plate glass fanlight above each; square name and date plaque at 1st floor of house to centre. Window at ground and 1st floor of flanking bays, breaking eaves at 1st floor, gabled with ashlar finial.

S ELEVATION: not seen fully, 1995; 1st floor breaking eaves and gabled.

Modern timber plate glass pivoted windows to Jubilee cottages. Slate roofs. Brick stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1995.

Statement of Interest

The 3-bay group to E is currently named Rowardennan. Hawthorn Cottage lies to the W end of the terrace, adjacent to Jubilee Cottages.
