Description

Later 19th century. 4-storey, 9-bay at ground, 8-bay to all other floors; symmetrical, classical tenement. Cream sandstone ashlar; rusticated at ground to principal elevation; rubble to rear. Base course; band course; cill courses to 1st and 3rd floor windows; cornice.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorways to bays 3, 5 and 7; panelled doors; plate glass fanlights; regular fenestration above; blind windows to floors above ground to left of centre.

Predominantly original 6-pane, timber sash and case windows; some plate glass. Grey slate pitched roof; coped ridge stacks, rendered to W; moulded cans. Replacement railings to street.

Later 19th century revival of early 19th century style tenement.
