Late 18th century. Single storey, 5-bay, rectangular-plan cottage. Rubble with pointed ashlar margins and dressings.
PRINCIPAL (N) elevation: door at centre; flanking windows symmetrically disposed.
REAR (S) elevation: lean-to scullery at centre; 2 square dormers symmetrically disposed.
8-pane glazing to timber sash and case windows; 4-pane timber sash and case dormers. Grey slate roof with ashlar coping to the skews and scrolled skewputts; corniced apex stacks with paired octagonal cans.
Interior: not seen 1994.

Cobbler Cottage (formerly Inverioch Cottage) was occupied by the game keeper of Inverioch House, now the Claymore Hotel (see separate listing). Inverioch was subsequently known as Arrochar House and then the Cobbler Hotel. The associated former steading on Church Road is also listed separately.
