Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay, T-plan Tudor- detailed lodge. Rubble with harl-pointing, stugged ashlar margins and dressings. Base course; hoodmoulds; quoins; slightly advanced eaves.

S (MAIN) ELEVATION: gabled porch advanced at centre; basket-arched sunk-chamfered door; flanking windows, that to left broader.

E AND W ELEVATIONS: large windows at centre of gables; blank roundel in gablehead of road elvation. Rear gabled wing.

All windows now blocked with painted ventilated sheet metal. Grey slate roof, lead flashings; off-set coped sandstone ridge stack.

GATEPIERS AND BOUNDARY WALL: gatepiers and: square piers with deep square caps; sandstone wall with semicircular coping.
