Circa 1870 with modern additions. 2 storey and attic; 3 bay, asymmetrical Italianate style house with advanced, square-plan, 3 stage tower to outer left. Cream sandstone polished ashlar, channelled at ground; squared and snecked rubble to sides and rear. Base course; dividing band course; advanced hoodmoulds with plain keystones and nail head springers to openings; advanced cills to 1st floor and attic windows; carved floreate motif between lights to both floors to canted bay; bracketed overhanging eaves.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: segmental arched doorway to tower at ground; panelled door; plate glass fanlight; narrow single round arched window to 1st floor above; bipartite round arched window to attic. Doorway to outer right (to main house); panelled door; plate glass fanlight; single segmental arched window to 1st floor above. Full height,
5 light canted window in bay to outer right.
E ELEVATION: single central window to 1st floor.
W ELEVATION: modern garage adjoining house at ground; single windows to 1st floor and attic to tower above; bowed bay to left with bipartite, round arched windows to 1st floor. Modern extension adjoining to rear.
Plate glass, timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roofs; coped wallhead stacks.
INTERIOR: not seen 1996.
BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped boundary wall to street; replacement railings.
