Mid 19th century. Rectangular garden approximately 60 x 80m with walls circa 11' and 15' high, brick lined and ashlar coped rubble sandstone walls, curved up to slighlty higher sections at intervals and urn finialled. Contemporary stone mono pitch stores abutting exterior, doors and 12-pane sash and case, timber windows, corrugated asbestos roof and stone coped skews, single flue evident at wallhead. Gateways with ashlar surrounds, 1 rusticated with keystone, 1 with heraldic panel above. Walls curved down and terminated with ashlar pier and fine stone urn, adjoining coped ashlar dwarf wall. Further cast-iron urn by greenhouses. Lean-to greenhouses against N wall with brick and ashlar base, vertically glazed walls and small-pane glazed roof both with pivot sections; door to side. Slate sundial with gnomon on stone baluster pedestal.
Kimmergahme House, Stables. Lodge, Bridge, Mill and Water Tower are listed separately. The walled garden was probably designed by David Bryce.
