Earlier 19th century. Symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay plain classical style farmhouse with single storey, 2-bay addition to outer right; courtyard at rear. Harl; slightly raised, painted margins; projecting cills. Single storey whitewashed rubble outbuilding to NW.
SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: replacement door centred at ground; single window aligned at 1st floor; regularly fenestrated at both floors in flanking bays. Single windows at ground in 2 bays to outer right.
NW (REAR) ELEVATION: large stair window at centre; single windows at ground and 1st floors in flanking bays. Projecting single storey wing adjoined to outer left with lean-to porch in re-entrant angle to right.
6-pane timber sash and case windows to original block; modern glazing to addition. Graded grey slate roof; raised stone skews; replacement rainwater goods. Corniced apex stacks to main block octagonal cans; coped apex stack to addition.
INTERIOR: not seen 1996.
OUTBUILDING: piended outbuilding enclosing courtyard to NW. 12-pane timber sash and case windows; graded grey slate roof; replacement rainwater goods.
BOUNDARY WALL: whitewashed rubble wall enclosing site; cast-iron pedestrian entry gate.
Despite the addition of a porch and various alterations within the courtyard, the farm has retained some distinguishing features - timber sash and case glazing, raised skews, corniced stacks and octagonal cans.
