17th century and later. Coped rubble walls incorporating War Memorial and enclosing church (both listed separately) and graveyard.
Mural monuments (N wall): monument dated 1646, with emblems of mortality and of trade; another dated 1761 commemorating 'H SPENS DD VDM AP WEMYSS'.
Predominantly moulded apex stones with variety of carved detail, including memorials to 'James Auchmuty late brewer in East Wemyss, died 1788', upright stone with fluted flanking pilasters, anthemion capitals, ball finials and dentilled cornice; 'David Kinnear, Gunmaker, Buckhaven' dated 1816, with guns powder pouch and crown; and 'Peter Laverock feuar in Buckhaven, died 1816' carved with plough.
Maintained by Fife Council. The graveyard was used until 1896 when East Wemyss Cemetery opened.
