Description

Thomas Telford former parliamentary church, now a roofless though virtually entire shell. Built 1829. Stock design; T-plan, 2 inner windows and outer doors on long east wall, depressed-arched openings, windows with simple iron tracery. Rubble-built with ashlar dressings.

Statement of Interest

No longer in ecclesiastical use. It was originally proposed that this church should be built on Harris; presbytery recommended Berneray as more suitable site.
