Earlier to mid 19th centry with later additions. Single storey with attic, 3-bay rectangular-plan symmetrical house with single storey, lean-to byre along rear (E) elevation. Roughly coursed rubble. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan asymmetrical barn sited to NW of main house. Random rubble.
DWELLING HOUSE: E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: boarded door in bay to centre. Window in each bay flanking.
REAR (W) ELEVATION: boarded door in bay to centre of lean-to addition. Large window (boarded) in bay to right. Window in bay to left.
S (SIDE) ELEVATION: window set to left at ground; attic window above; gablehead stack above. Boarded door with window flanking in lean-to addition to outer left.
N (SIDE) ELEVATION: boarded loft door to gablehead; gablehead stack above. Boarded sliding door in lean-to bay to outer right.
4-pane timber sash and case windows, (some missing); small rooflights to S pitch. Graded stone slate roof; stone ridge; squared rubble, corniced gablehead stacks; cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: flagstone floor; fireplace to E and W ends; large stone lintels; temporary timber staircase to S end. Flagstone floor to byre; central slurry channel; concrete stall divisions along E wall; timber hay rack along N wall.
BARN: E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: wide (formerly sliding timber) door, offset to left of centre. Boarded door with small window flanking in bay to right.
Small rooflights to E pitch. Graded stone tiled roof; stone ridge; coped skews.
INTERIOR: cement floor; exposed timber rafters and tie beams; timber floor division with timber access stair to N half of barn.
A relatively intact dwelling house and barn with flagstone floor and graded stone tiled roof extant. Other features of interest include the large wallhead between windows and eaves.
