Earlier 19th century. 2-storey 7-bay terrace of shops with flats above. Cement-rendered and lined and painted walls with painted margins.
N (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: 7-bay elevation (grouped 3-1-3). 3-bay shop to outer left comprising modern timber shop door at ground in centre bay flanked by shop windows, narrow window to right of door, regular fenestration at 1st floor. Regularly-fenestrated bay at centre of terrace with shop window at ground; 2-leaf 4-panel timber door with rectangular fanlight adjacent to right with small window at floor above. 3-bay shop to outer right comprising modern timber shop door flanked by shop windows at ground, narrow blind window adjacent to left of door, regular fenestration at 1st floor.
E GABLE: infilled door offset to left of centre and flanked by 2 blind shop windows.
S ELEVATION: asymmetrical, modern addition projecting at centre, 3-bay elevation to right, blank to right of door in left bay, regularly-fenestrated at 1st floor; single bay elevation to left of addition with windows at ground and 1st floors.
W GABLE: single window centred at 1st floor.
8-pane timber sash and case windows to upper floor of principal elevation; 4-pane and 6-pane timber sash and case windows to rear elevation. Purple-grey slate roof with harled skew-copes. Harled and painted gablehead stacks with stone copes.
