Description

Early 19th century. U-plan farm. Flagstone rubble. Alternate canted corner stones to quoins. Some harling remains.

S FACING RANGE: S gable wall to W range; window to left; gable apex stack. Right return; window to far left; 1 doors to right flank; blocked door to right; door to far right; flanking windows. Central single storey range; window to far left; flanking door to right. Door to right; flanking windows. Pitched outshot to E range; 2 storey barn behind; door to left return; window to right; 2 1st floor windows. Shed attached to barn set back to far right; large opening to left; blocked opening to right.

N FACING RANGE: window to right; 2-storey barn gable to left; ground floor window; loft door above. W facing range: blocked central window; window to left. E facing range: large door inserted into outshot to left; large sliding door to barn. Plain elevation to outshot; owl hole in apex.

Pitched roofs; Caithness slate. Asbestos sheeting covers holes at rear range. W end, N pitch. Some rooflights.

INTERIORS: not seen, 2000.

B-Group with Langskaill Old Manse (see separate list). The buildings continue to be used for storage but are in poor condition at time of survey (2000).
