Description

Early 19th century. Rectangular-plan walled garden. Squared rubble base (to approximately 3') below red brick with flat ashlar cope. Square-section ashlar gatepiers to SW with mutuled cornice giving way to stepped cope and large ball-finial with bisecting abacus. Segmental-headed pedestrian gate with timber door to SE. Semi-derelict lean-to ancillaries to outer elevation of NW wall.

Statement of Interest

Inchmartine House, Coach House, Ice House and Lodge House are listed separately. Thought to have been built using labour of Napoleonic Prisoners of War.
