Designed by William Birnie Rhind, 1919, cast by George Mancini, 1933. Bronze statue of fallen kilted officer with raised arm on corniced sandstone plinth inscribed 'Carry On?. Bronze plaques with names of fallen, that to front with winged Victories holding garlanded cartouch reading 'To the glorious memory of Fettesians who gave their lives for their country in the Great War1914-1918?. U-plan coped sandstone surrounding wall with bronze lion and stag bearing heraldic shields.
The original statue, erected in 1920, would appear to have weathered badly, and the statue was recast in 1933.
