Description

Late 18th century range, formerly one 3-bay and two 2-bay houses: 2 storeys. Harled with painted stone margins. Right 3-bay section, central door with chamfered margins, 2 windows to 1st floor. Left 2-bay section, door at right 1 window in ground and 1st floors. Original glazing in all windows. Slate roof, 1 axial 1 end stack. Lower 2-bay house to left. Door with 1 window in each floor. Slate roof, end stack. Lower pantiled store to N with straight skews and scrolled skewputt at north.

Statement of Interest

When listed in 1979 the listed building record noted that 'Part of the store belongs to Mrs Rennie, part to Mrs Kerr at The Black Bull'.

Statutory address and listed building record revised in 2016. Previously listed as 'Miss Rennie Back Road'.
