History

A medieval cross which is probably C15 but which has lost the top of the shaft and the cross itself.

Exterior

Churchyard cross constructed of large blocks of conglomerate. Square base of three diminishing steps. This supports a socket stone with corner broaches which in turn supports a square shaft going to octagonal.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a relic medieval cross and for group value with the Old Church.
Scheduled Ancient Monument MM146(MON).
