A late C18 or early C19 house first shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.
A 2½-storey single-fronted house of whitened pebble-dashed walls, with smooth-rendered black-painted plinth, architraves, 1st-floor sill band and angle pilasters. The roof is slate, with roughcast stack to the L. The entrance on the R side is reached up 2 slate steps, and has a replacement door under an earlier overlight. The surround is pedimented with fleur-de-lis attached finial. Windows are 12-pane hornless sash in the ground floor, 9-pane to the 1st floor.
In the L gable end is a 9-pane sash window in the ground floor, and a small steel-framed attic casement window offset to the R. The rear is rubble stone, with an outshut on the L side. The main range has a 1st-floor 9-pane hornless sash window on the R side.
Not inspected.
Listed for its special architectural interest as a small town house retaining definite C19 character, and for its contribution to the historical townscape.
