History

Perhaps early C19, some alterations in late C20.

Exterior

Two-storey house with stone walls. Entrance faces former farmyard to W. Slate hipped roof which forms a pentice over projection in northern part of W front; tall chimney to L, and chimney to R. The projection has 4 large casement windows which rise above eaves. Doorway between ashlar pilasters has 3-centred head and 9-panelled door with top three panels glazed. Window with cambered head to L; broad casement window to R. To R a small window at first floor level. Small-pane sash window to N return. To rear, house is pebbledashed; S half slightly advanced. Four window elevation with two 9-pane sash windows to N, and two 12-pane sashes to S.

An early C19 farmhouse retaining overall character.
