Probably early C19.
Small house. Two storeys and basement. Stone walls; pebbledash. Slate roof. Entrance faces N; 2-window front; modern 2-light casement windows, upper windows with heads at eaves level, lower right-hand window with cambered head; modern windows to basement. Central doorway; 4-panelled door. Connected to the public pathway by a small footbridge. Bounding the pathway there is a low retaining wall of stone with ashlar coping; C19 or later railings.
Early C19 house retaining chracter, and with Group Value with No 2 King Street, and cobbled steps, and also with rears of Nos.18, 19 and 20 The Struet and with rears of Nos.21a and 21 to 23 (consec) The Struet.
