History

C19 facade to probably C17 core. C17 roof trusses, and concealed stop-chamfered beams.

Exterior

Shops with accommodation above. Stucco front to Lion Street of 2 storeys, 4 bays. Steeply-pitched slate roof; 3 catslide dormers with small-pane Brecon hopper windows. On first floor, 4-pane sash windows with horns; the two right hand windows are larger and set higher in the wall. Two modern shop fronts on ground floor.

Interior

Within, chamfered beams. Said to be attic of 5 bays with pegged roof trusses.
