Group of 12 almshouses built in 1836; heightened to centre in 1927.
Single storey, except Nos. 6 and 7 which are 2-storey, 1 window fronts; coursed rubble with plinth. Slate roof overhanging eaves and brick chimney stacks set diagonally, those to centre are taller, flanking 2-window pebbledash gable to Nos. 6 and 7. Voussoir lintels to tudor pointed windows and door openings. Paired casement windows with diamond leaded glazing and boarded shutters with C-shaped fastenings; boarded doors. Slated lean to brackets hoods, twinned except for end houses. Casement windows to 1927 addition, crucifix over datestone and coat of arms in diamond recess. Modern tablet below inscribed "Harley Almshouses, these almshouses were built and endowed by Frances Harley in memory of her Sister Martha Harley of Trebarried in 1836, they were modernised in 1974".
