Mid C18, 2 storey and cellar, 5 window public house.
Painted Flemish bond brick on plinth. Moderately pitched slate roof. Dentil eaves cornice. Later brick stack set forward of ridge to right, modern stack to left. Early, 12 pane, flush framed sash windows, set under eaves. Timber sills. Similar to ground floor, but horned with gauged brick flat heads. 1 to right of door, 2 to left. Stone sills.
Plain C19 doorcase, dripboard. Large rectangular fanlight. Modern door. Later chamfered corner to building on right. Carriageway to extreme left. Heavy frame, soldier arch. C19 plaster lion on brackets over.
Cobbled former stableyard to rear with weatherboarded outbuildings.
1930's touring club,"winged wheel", plaque affixed to front elevation.
