History

House in terraced row, c1820-30, marked on 1834 map. An unsigned and undated plan and elevation in the Record Office is possibly by David Morgan. Marked on 1834 map of Carmarthen. In 2002 county council offices.

Exterior

Town house, in painted roughcast with high coped parapet concealing hipped slate roof. Two storey 2-window range with painted stucco plinth. All openings arch-headed, the windows with blind arches over 12-pane sashes. Six-panel door to left with radial bars to fanlight. Open-pedimented timber doorcase to left with pilasters and small square panels to heads. Unadorned parapet without coping.

Interior

Partially inspected, right room has marble fireplace on rear wall, elliptical arched recess to right and another to left over door into rear room. Panelled doors and shutters.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a good late-Georgian town house of group value with No 1.
