History

Exterior

Late Georgian 3-storey and basement structure with roughcast elevations to Alfred Place and 2-window Portland Street front, rubble chimney stacks. Entry in Alfred Place through fluted pilastered doorcase with entablature frieze and cornice, 6-panel door and fanlight; brace plates to left at join with 2-window cross range with mainly small pane sash windows including 18 pane staircase window over cambered headed entrance. Three-storey bay windows to Portland Street, front, sash windows without glazing bars except to basement.

Rubble rear with brick dressings.
