History

Mid C19

Exterior

Former vicarage, squared coursed stone with hipped slate roof and paired brackets to flat eaves. Basement and 2 storeys, 3-window front of 12-pane hornless sashes with flat stone lintels. Centre 9-panel door and overlight. 2-window E end wall.
Low 2-storey, one window rubble stone W range with 12-pane sash each floor, stone voussoirs.
Previous list notes end stone stacks, wood trellis porch, blocked segmental arch on wing, and slate-hung rear wall, all lost in conversion.

Reasons for Listing

A good facade in late Georgian style, unusual long stone blocks and single stone lintels. Not marked on 1840 tithe map.

Group value with Church of Saint Tysul and Porth Hotel.
