Mid to later C19 pair of houses similar to Nos 6-12 Nun Street but larger.
Colourwashed rubble stone with grouted slate roof to No 36 and stone end stacks. Two-storey two-window front to each house, with cambered painted brick heads, 12-pane sashes, smaller above, and slate sills. Paired doors and upper centre windows; doors with raised keyblocks and overlights. Slate hung S wall with some projecting stones at corner for intended addition on site of No 32.
