History

Trelewyd is marked on 1840 Tithe Map, the old house with two large fireplaces survives part-demolished (1989) as also does part of a horse-engine house.

Exterior

C19 rubble stone 3m high wall with six pointed-arched, curved recesses for bee skeps. Slate projecting shelves. Wall is demolished E of beeboles, but continues W to corner before returning S.

A rare surviving feature in the area.
