History

Built some time between 1836 and 1852, and still in use as housing.

Exterior

Coursed and squared rubble with slate roof. End wall stacks. Three storeys, 4-window range, comprising a row of 4 single fronted, double-pile plan houses. Each has entrance to the right, a 2-panelled door with overlight, and 12-pane sash window (9-pane to attic storey), almost flush framed and with flat arched heads (timber lintels in attic storey).

Reasons for Listing

A rare example of the earliest phase of Rhyl’s development as a new town in the mid C19 which survives almost intact.
