History

House, circa 1860.

Exterior

Stucco, (modern) slate substitute roof, double slope, hipped to R; red brick chimneys to ends. Two storeys plus attic, round-headed window in L gable. Three window front, band course at sill level of first floor windows; outer windows slightly advanced, 16-pane hornless sashes; central narrow window to each floor (small pane glazing). Flat-roofed extension (single-storey) to R. To L, two-storey porch, 8-pane hornless sash window to first floor, circa 1930’s door to ground floor (bracketed hood).

One of a planned group of unusual small stucco villas, amongst earliest developments in Ffynone.
