History

A late C19 milepost, one of a series on the Llanelly to Kidwelly road cast by Glanmor Foundry Company of Llanelli (name on plinth), and shown on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey.

Exterior

A V-shaped cast iron milepost with ramped top, painted white, on a square plinth. It reads, in raised letters and numerals painted black, 'To Llanelly 3 miles' on one face, and on the other 'To Kidwelly 5 miles' and 'To Carmarthen 14'.
