Probably early C19. Marked on the 1874 map as the White Lion Inn.
A symmetrical 2-window building of 1½ storeys in local stone, the front roughcast. Slate roof with tile ridge; brick end-chimneys. The upper windows are of unequal hornless sash type with 12 panes, in stone gabled and coped dormers. The lower windows are also of unequal hornless sash type, with 20 panes. Doorway at centre in a slightly advancing stone surround with string course and crenellation; replaced door.
Interior not seen.
A good example of early C19 domestic Tudor style applied to a village street building; also listed for group value with Preswylfa and Darwin Cottage.
