History

The churchyard is much older than the present church and circular churchyards are believed to be early in date. The surviving wall is, however, mostly Victorian, as are the gatepiers and gates, and most of it probably dates from the rebuilding of the church in 1865-8.

Exterior

Coursed local limestone rubble, the Victorian parts more carefully squared than the rest. About 1.5m in height but mostly on top of a bank and appearing higher, cock-and-hen coping. Square semi-ashlar gatepiers with pyramid caps and iron overthrow. iron gates and railings.

Reasons for Listing

Included for group value with the Church of St. Owain and the adjacent motte called Druids' Grove.
