History

Late C18 or early C19 front, but the arrangement of the windows suggests that the top floor was added to an earlier building, ground floor altered in C20. Both street numbers refer to the same building.

Exterior

Rendered and painted front, probably over brick, with Welsh slate roof and red brick stacks. Double depth central entry plan. Three storeys, three windows. The ground floor has plain plate glass windows flanking the central door, the left hand window is larger; 6-panel door with two glazed panels, transom light, flat hood on carved brackets. This is flanked by a fixed window in its original opening on the right and a display window in a widened opening on the left. Timber cornice over ground floor supporting a blank fascia which is the apron to three first floor windows. The first floor has three 6 over 6 pane sashes. Wide gap to second floor windows which are two smaller sashes above the outer two. Low pitch roof with brick stack on either gable. Rear elevation not seen.

Interior

Interior not seen at resurvey except for the ground floor which has been opened out and given a modern staircase.
