Early C19 terrace of four houses.
Roughcast rendered and painted, probably over brick, with natural slate roof largely hidden behind parapet. Narrow double depth plan. Two storeys, four windows and four doors on ground floor W : D : D : W : W : D : D : W, six windows above. Plain 4-panel doors in elliptical arched openings. Sash windows with 6 over 6 panes and stone cills. Painted plinth, band over first floor below eaves. Shared stacks on ridge.
Rear elevation not seen.
Interior planning is unusual in that two of the houses have two upper floor windows and two have one.
Included for its special architectural interest as a probably early C19 terrace of well preserved small houses in the Monmouth town centre.
