History

Very early C20, perhaps 1905-10, still very much in the character of a late Victorian villa pair. Built as part of the development of Fosterville Crescent by Edwin Foster, architect and Thomas Foster, building contractor, who owned the land. It remains an exceptionally little altered Edwardian house.

Exterior

Rear elevation not inspected.

Interior

Interior not seen at resurvey.

Reasons for Listing

Included as part of a specially interesting c1900 housing development of definite character designed and built by the Fosters, a local family of architect and builder.
