Probably late C18 and apparently little altered. The walling is part of the circular garden created for Benjamin Waddington.
Circular stone rubble dovecote with conical tiled roof, red brick walling attached to either side. The dovecote is plain with alighting platform and entrance holes for the doves at eaves level. The walls, which are about 2.5m in height, stretch on either side for some distance.
Interior not available at resurvey.
Included for its special interest as an adjunct to a fine late C18 country house and having group value within Llanover Park.
