Circa 1857. Terraced cottages grouped 5-7, 8 and 9, 10 and 11. 2 storeys ashlar,
Nos 6 and 7 with roughcast fronts, No 9 painted. Band over ground floor, brackets
to eaves gutter. Double roman tile or slate roofs and brick chimneys (Nos 10 and
11 ashlar). 1 range of late glazed sash windows per house, several with modern
casements. Nos 5-7 have plain raised shallow pediment to ground floor windows
and scrolled brackets to cornice over plain doorways. Nos 8 and 9 eaves band and
plain doorways. Nos 10 and 11 have plain brackets and hoods to plain doorways.
Nos 1 to 13 (consec), the centre block of the District Hospital and Nos 16 to 29
(consec) form a group
