Reached from Fore Street by small throughpassage to left of No 31. Former Trowbridge
Chronicle Printing Works. Mid C19 brick and stone building in a flagged alleyway.
2 storeys, 5 ranges of windows, glazing bar sashes with marginal glazing, 1st floor
window to left blocked. English bond brickwork with stone dressings, brackets
to cills, keyed lintels and fascia band at eaves level having 'Trowbridge Chronicle
Printing Works' in raised lettering. Flanking pavilions of stone with doorways:
battered rusticated piers to keyed arch over plain fanlight, cornice topped by
stone imitation pantiles and parapet (No 8 topped by skylight as well). Hipped
roof with double roman tiles.
