Early C18, 3 storeys and attic, elaborate front of brick with stuccoed ground
floor and 4 tall stuccoed pilasters full height to centre of 2nd floor windows,
with strips of triglyph frieze (one large triglyph to each) up to moulded
and bracketed cornice broken forward over pilasters with stuccoed piers over
forming part of brick parapet with stone coping, old tile roof. 3 casement
dormer windows. 4 segmental-headed windows on 2nd floor with keystones and
raised surround. Later glazing bars to sashes.
4 flat-headed similar windows on 1st floor (no glazing bars).
Ground floor altered fenestration but original 6-panelled door to left hand.
Doorcase of engaged Ionic columns supporting entablature with bolection frieze,
modillion cornice and pediment. Interior: 1st floor room to front with good
mid to late C18 delicately moulded plaster ceiling with central sun-burst.
Late C18 good oval staircase altered ground floor level. To the rear an addition
of circa 1778 with a 1st floor room containing a fine doorcase and plaster
ceiling.
Nos 1 to 15 (odd) form a group.
