Town house with shop. Post-1856 remodelling of probable C18
house. Slatehanging on studwork between stucco quoins strips
to upper floors of front; hipped dry Delabole slate roof with
modillion eaves cornice; cast-iron ogee gutter. Deep plan
including rear wing. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Stucco
surrounds to mid-C19 hornless sashes with glazing bars;
moulded eared architraves to short segmental-arched 2nd-floor
sashes; pilasters with consoles and segmental pediment flanked
by triangular pediments to 1st floor, all set on deep
brackets; moulded sills to both floors. Ground floor has large
C20 shop front with 2 plate-glass windows and wide glazed
doorway on the left. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be
of interest.
