Public House. Late C16 three bay timber framed building refronted in C19 and with added C19 bay to north east. Original part has ground floor of red brick and first floor tile hung with modillion band between floors. Tiled roof half-hipped to south west, with external stacks to south west and off central stack to ridge. Two storeys, four windows; early C20 casements with hipped gable with carved bargeboard over third window from left. Early C20 doorcase with square wooden piers, carved bargeboard and tiled gable, simpler door with pediment on brackets to left. Two storey Victorian extension of one bay to north east with gable and similar windows. Rear elevation has two tiled gables.

Interior contains chamfered ceiling beams with lambs tongue stops to bar, C18 open fireplace to south west and roof of collar and butt purlin construction.
