House, originally farmhouse, later lodge. In appearance a C17 lobby entrance
house, refaced and extended by one bay in C19 but owner says it dates from C14.
Timber framed, refaced in red brick on ground floor with sandstone, weatherboarded
on 1st floor. Half-hipped modern plain tiled roof with off central brick chimney
stacks. 2 storeys, 3 windows. C19 casements. Ground floor has 2 Gothick headed
metal casements. Simple plank door. Right side elevation has 3 light canted
bay with Gothick pointed headed casement. Roof said to be extensively altered.
Interior inspection not possible at time of survey.
