Public house. C15, extended C18. Timber framed and close studded with
plaster infill and plain tiled roof, extended with painted brick and plain
tiled roof. Four framed bay main range. Two storeys on plinth with end
jetties, and hipped roof with gablets, and stack cluster to centre right.
Two wooden casements on first floor and 1 canted bay and 1 wooden casement
on ground floor. Two boarded doors to centre and centre right. Projecting
2 storey wing to left, hipped, with 1 glazing bar sash on each floor on hip
end and 2 glazing bar sashes and panelled door on return elevation.
single storey C19 extension to right. (See B.O.E. Kent II 1983, 467).
