Pair of early C18 houses. 3 storeys. 2 windows to No 23; 4 windows to No 24.
Red and brown brick, partly replaced; No 23 recently refaced. No 23 has
pilasters of brick. Sash windows with flush boxes in flat arches; rubbed
brick voussoirs; glazing bars intact. Smaller windows on 2nd floor. Large
unflattering shop fronts on ground floor. Pair of good doorways together
(in centre), with Doric columns, pediments and semi-circular fanlights; 6
panel moulded doors in panelled reveals.
