A pair of houses of about 1820. 3 storeys. 2 windows each. Stuccoed. Cornice
and shaped parapet with a figure of a lion couchant surmounting the centre panel
of the parapet. 3-light curved bay window on all floors of both houses. Hoods
over 1st floor windows. Continuous iron balcony on 1st f oor (possibly a later
addition) Glazing bars intact. Recessed square-headed doorways.
Nos 9 to 17 (odd). Sailsbury House Nos 19 to 27 (odd) and Steyne Hall form a group,
being an uniterupted sequence.
