Harding Memorial Approximately 20 Metres South East of Church of St Peter

A Grade II Listed Building in Maer, Staffordshire

Tomb of George and Honor Harding

Uploader's Comments

This is the grave of George Harding (1802-58) and his wife, Honor Harding nee Tunnicliffe (1800-65) who had no children. His father was Benjamin Harding, and his grandfather was John Harding, both of which have graves close to the church porch. George was a farmer and land agent acting for a number of large estates, as was his brother Samuel (my 2 greats grandfather) buried in Bunbury.
