Chest tomb. C.1769. Sandstone ashlar. Rectangular plan. Moulded
capping with reeded corner pilasters. Inscription panels, largely
indecipherable, commemorate John Halmarach (died 1769) - west side;
Elizabeth, his wife - south side; Philip Broade - east side; and
Maria ? - north side. On the top ledger further inscriptions to Alice
Broade (died 1801) and Alice Rowley (died 1802), wife of John Rowley of
Bower End.
