Railings and walls. Circa 1864. Bargate stone blocks with brick quoins and
edges to piers. Paired gate piers flanked by 2 smaller piers either sides and
with larger end piers, that to right now demolished, and flanking walls.
Central piers with stop-chamfered angles and cusped and diagonal brick dentil courses. Steep gables over. Central piers approximately 6 1/2 feet high,
flanking piers lower. Brick plinth walls to base of railings approximately 3
1/2 feet high with two rows of spike finials. Doubled centre gates with
trefoil arcade under stepped arched rails. Curved flank wall to left end,
that to right demolished. Included for group value.
